Nelson Domínguez (Cuba)

1947 Born in Santiago de Cuba
1970 Graduated from Cubanacan National Art School
1970-85 Professor and head of thePainting Department of the College of Arts (ISA) and faculty member of its Engraving Department.Member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and of the International Association of Plastic Artists (AIAP).
Was presented with the National Cultural award and the Alejo Carpentier award.

1967 Born in Pereira Barreto, SP, Brazil

Art Student League, New York, USA

Educated in Univerysity of Art of San Paulo in 1967. His works are characterized by the tinge of plaster yellow and light and shade of black. Opened his own exhibition and also participated in group exhibitions in Nuremberg, New York, Tokyo and Sao Paulo. He is one of the most famous Brazilian modern artists.
Ana M. Hoyos (Colombia)

Ana Mercedes Hoyos is one of the most outstanding figures in present day Colombian art. Her work has been the subject of three previous book s, received a wide critical commentary and figured in publications like Art News, Newsweek, Time and Art in America.

Gustavo Vélez (Colombia)

Born in Medellin of Colombia. After educated drawing in Art Institute of Medellin, learned sculpture in Italy. His works are characterized by elegant curved lines and they present eternal pleasure to us. We can feel potential power of Colombian Contemporary Art from his works.


Ryuichi Yahagi(Mexico)

Nació en 1967 en la ciudad de Kawasaki, Japón. En 1986 ingresa a la carrera culinaria del Instituto Culinario de Osaka Abeno Tsuji, Japón. Después de graduarse, inicia la licenciatura de artes visuales con especialidad en escultura por la Universidad de Bellas Artes de Kanazawa, Japón. En 1995 concluye y se va a vivir a México. A partir de ésta fecha radica en la ciudad de Xalapa, Veracruz. Realiza exposiciones individuales y colectivas, vinculando actividades como talleres, conferencias etc., entre Japón y México, principalmente. En 2013 se titula de la maestría en Artes Visuales por la Academia de San Carlos, UNAM, con especialidad en Arte Urbano. Actualmente es investigador del Instituto de Artes Plásticas de la Universidad Veracruzana, produce su obra y coordina el intercambio cultural artístico de ambos países.

  Manuel Luca de Tena(Spain)

1954. Born in Madrid.
1972-75. Educated at the Madrid Senior Technical School of Architecture and Academia Centro.
1975-80. Studies in the Madrid Fine Arts Faculty, where he graduated.
1984. Moved to Tokyo. Japanese language and culture studies at The Tokyo School of the Japanese Language (Naganuma School).
1990. Return to Madrid.
1992. Publisher as coauthor of the illustrated guide Destino Japón (AnayaTouring).
2004. Began to teach a classes in the Salamanca Fine Arts Faculty.
2004-08. PhD studies at the Fine Arts Faculty in Madrid, obtaining the Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA).
Currently Lecturer in Painting, Pictorial Techniques and the Psychology of Art in the Faculty of Fine Arts and in the East Asia Master (East Asian Art) in the School of Social Sciences at Salamanca University.
